I have a Chi Pink Dazzle Straightener and to be honest, it works just like my old Conair wet dry.
More hair silky and soft, but is straight.
You do not know how it is hot, but my suggestion is to at least 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Also, be sure, a sort of heat shield, otherwise, your hair is very curly, use dry and damaged hair.
